Automatic sharpening at the service of forestry professionals

  • Introduction

The sharpening of chainsaws has been revolutionized thanks to an automatic system Made in Vallorbe®. Called V│OAK, this innovative solution, developed and designed in Switzerland, ensures efficient and precise sharpening.

Combining technology and tradition, V│OAK uses two round files and two Vallorbe® flat files.  While remaining as close as possible to manual work, this sharpener removes its arduousness, ensures high accuracy and a better cutting performance.

Thanks to its great ease of use, there is no need for qualified personnel. It thus allows a shortened work time and therefore increased efficiency and performance. A chain of 72 links is sharpened in about fifteen minutes.

Compact and equipped with a 110 VAC or 220 VAC (50 Hz / 60 Hz) power supply, the V│OAK is easy to carry around and can effortlessly be mounted on the back of a pickup truck.
